Heritage Hotels in Jaipur
Raj Mahal Palace
Still not sure about where to spend your next holidays? How about coming to
Rajasthan in India? You can spend an exciting and fun holiday at Jaipur, the
capital city of Rajasthan, exploring all the fascinating forts and palaces of
the 'pink city'.
While you enjoy touring all the major tourist attractions in Jaipur, you can
stay over at Raj Mahal Heritage Hotel. The
Raj mahal, which was earlier known
as Ranawatji-ka-Bagh, was built by Sawai Jai Singh II, for his queen Maharani
Chandra Kumar Ranawatji. It remained neglected for quite sometime but it regained
its glory after Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II moved into the Palace. In 1980,
after the royal family moved to another palace, Raj Mahal was converted into
a Heritage Hotel.
The Raj Mahal has 23 guest rooms, all of which have air-conditioning and most
modern conveniences. The guests can either opt for a royal suite, regular suite
or standard rooms.
During their stay at the heritage hotel, the guests can feast on a wide range
of dishes at the in-house restaurant or dine by the poolside. There is also
a library bar, which is perfect for a relaxing evening. The Raj Mahal Palace
Heritage Hotel also provides numerous other facilities and complimentary services.
